We have recently come across the linked article, and thought it very interesting.

This article talks about the new book being written by Tony Seba and his predictions for the future of solar technologies. In his last book, he predicted how it would redefine the world’s energy markets and create an investment opportunity worth tens of trillions of dollars. For his next book, Tony Seba has made some even more dramatic forecasts. The new predictions read that by 2030, solar will have made the fossil fuel industry more or less redundant.

In an interview with RenewEconomy in San Francisco last month, Tony quoted “I am incredibly optimistic that by 2030, nuclear, coal, gas, big hydro, and oil will be all but obsolete”.
